What do you need?

I want to buy or start a business in Canada

The PNP entrepreneur pathway: a work permit to run the business, provincial nomination, then permanent residence. Programs change often and some are paused, so I tell you which are open now.

I want to expand my business into Canada

Explore the LMIA-exempt work permit options. Which one applies depends on your role, how the two businesses are structured, and the benefit to Canada.

I want to send an employee to Canada

Transferring an existing employee to a related Canadian business. The companies and the employee both have to meet IRCC's requirements.

My case does not fit the usual categories

Assessed one at a time, depending on what you bring to Canada. I will tell you if I do not think a case is strong enough to file.

I only need to visit for meetings or training

You may not need a work permit at all. It depends on what you will actually do in Canada, not on what the trip is called.

Not sure which applies?

That is what the consultation is for. Tell me what you are looking for and I will tell you what is realistic.

FAQ

Can you guarantee a business pathway will work?

No. Nobody can. Programs change, some are paused or closed, and each application is decided by the government. What I can do is tell you which pathways are open to you now, how strong your case is, and what the risks are, before you commit to a business purchase or an application.

Which provinces do you work with?

I can represent you in every province except Saskatchewan and Quebec. If you are interested in these provinces, I can refer you to someone.

How much does it cost?

Business files are quoted individually, after a consultation, because the cost depends on the pathway and the size of the file. A business consultation is $400 CAD for 60 minutes. Clients living outside Canada are not charged tax. The consultation fee is credited toward your service fee if you decide to work with me within 14 days.

Can you help me buy the business?

No. I advise on the immigration side only. A business lawyer and an accountant should review the purchase itself.
