Why work with a licensed consultant
There's no undo button once you submit. An immigration application isn't a draft you can quietly fix after the fact, once it's in, the mistakes are in too.
IRCC doesn't distinguish between a lie and an honest mistake, both can get an application refused, and in some cases can affect your ability to apply again. A wrong NOC code or a form filled out from a misunderstanding causes the same problem as one filled out carelessly. Knowing exactly where things go wrong is most of what you're paying for.
No one, licensed or not, can guarantee an outcome. What a licensed consultant can do is give you an honest read on the strength of your file before it's submitted, not after, and tell you when it isn't strong enough yet rather than file it anyway.
Every licensed consultant is listed on the public register maintained by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants. Mine is RCIC-IRB R524774, and it takes about ten seconds to check, and it's worth doing for anyone you're considering hiring.
